[Albion] FA Cup 4th round ticket sales

🤣🤣🤣 Ah yes, however I’m sure you’ll agree you did “tick a few boxes”

I think your only avenue is to contact an old mate personally who is a ST holder and see if they’ll get you a pair. If you are genuinely new to NSC you may not be aware that buying tickets for people you don’t know is a bit of a no/no because if they end up acting an arse it’s the purchaser that gets the ban.
😂 😂 agree the situation definitely “ticks the boxes” 😂!

Appreciate the heads-up regarding tickets. I’ll reach out to a couple of school mates and failing that perhaps some will be available nearer the time.

The dull part of the south coast
My daughter, my grandson, me, and friends are coming down from the West Upper to join you oiks in the North Stand for this one. A change is as good as rest and all that. Anyway, looking forward to watching our boys from a different perspective. Let’s get those three points! :ascarf:

I was debating doing the opposite, but in the end have stuck with the North. We did the WSU for the Women's Euros v Spain - great match, but couldn't believe how far away we were!! I felt rather detached from the game....although obviously you get a great tactical perspective from the WSU. Overall, I much prefer the North - I like being able to stand, and really love the proximity to the action.

I am a ST holder and was surprised that I could buy 2 tickets for friends without having to enter fan numbers for them. They do have fan numbers but the ticket site didn't ask for them. I now have all 3 tickets in my Google wallet.
I was caught out by trying to do what I thought was the right thing, desperately trying to add the ticket in my mother’s name/fan number.

Maybe the club need to do a little guidance on how to buy a guest ticket given it is such a regular query on NSC from people that should be used to the ticketing website by now.

Pick seats
Assign to self (automatically done)
pick right age category
tick/decline insurance
tick t&c box
pay
Get email, upload ticket to phone/email to guest

Actually think a lot of the problem now is paranoia - the club have made such a song and dance about harvesting, ID checks, bans and the like people are too scared to make a mistake and inadvertently contravene the rules (when the reality is it's really simple)

I didn't need guidance, as such.
I just needed confirmation that the home ticket buying policy is completely at odds with the away ticket policy.

That sort of thing can confuse a stupid person.

I'm afraid "Reaching out" isn't a popular turn of phrase either. It has long been debated on the "Bell Cheeses at work thread"

Appreciate it's a minefield and you'll probably be off to BHAFC Twitter in a minute if this carries on.

Oh I know how to do it myself but the number of times people say "I'm trying to assign the guest ticket to someone in my F&F and it isn't working" is ridiculous. It is such a common thing to see posted on NSC.

Yes. There’s a different approach to selling tickets fairly when you’re trying to shift FA Cup ties at the Amex or home tickets for the likes of Forest on a wet Tuesday night than away tickets to palace or Arsenal or spurs that will sell out in minutes.

I make it 4,945 tickets left
Selling better than I expected tbh 💙 great support - should sellout. Let’s hope 1901 turn up to make it a bums on seats sellout!

I'm not too sure how me being able to buy friends of a friend, who've never been to the AMEX tickets for Liverpool 24 hrs before kick off, without any form of identification, fits into your narrative, but as I'm sure you're aware I also don't really care either.

Don't forget to sing 😉
That goes for any tourists from elsewhere in the ground as well

Anyone else a little suspicious that E1I and E1H sold out very quickly? These seats are normally the last the go. I suspect there will be a LOT of away fans mixing in there to basically extend the away support section round. Hope the Albion are ready for any issues that may cause

EDIT: Ignore me. I was wrong. Still though, look at seats availble in W1A (49) vs W1I (165)

…and in a completely different part of the ground if you want so you can’t even keep an eye on them

Will be 100% away fans, blocks are part of their allocation
