No they got a bye because they are in Europe. Leicester also got a bye to even the numbers up and because they finished 18th in the Premiership last season.

Money or publicity? That's a hard one
If we draw a big club at home, I think it should definitely be played at home, as we don't seem to last very long in cup competitions lately
An F.A. Cup run would be good this season as well, 6th round would be nice to get to. All that lovely T.V. revenue and Falmer publicity would be very good

Thread is irrelevant, the tie could not be moved end of. The whole thing about police advice is on grounds of safety and this is only applicable when it comes to non league clubs. All League grounds have to meet minimum requirements to get a safety certificate to put on games and as we have that we could not move the tie.

I understand the reasons for wanting a tie such as this at Withdean. It would be good if it happened but my preference for the tie would be away at Newcastle, Tottenham, Bolton or Man City since they are the only Premiership grounds I haven't been to (although did go to Burnden Park and Maine Road)
