Usually games between big teams disappoint, not this one

How have we managed to come up against Arsenal's only decent performance in the last two months?

They deserve to lose this. Liverpool have earned the win by defending brilliantly and then doing the business when they needed to. Since scoring, they've never remotely looked like conceding.

It’s probably the best result for us for a few reasons:

- a Europa League rival with another game to play
- Arsenal are the better side and have got our number more than Liverpool this year
- Liverpool look half the side without Salah and won’t have him for the 4th round so more likely to go out

Sure Odigard isn't at Fernandez levels of 'not a captain', but I don't think he's a positive captainal (is a word) influence on his side.

Also, Arsenal are in their bad patch now. They might have started to recover by the next round. Liverpool haven't had any sustained loss of form yet.

Defended brilliantly is a stretch. In the second half maybe. But Arsenal should have been 6-0 up at half time

You missed the main one! We’re more likely to beat Liverpool than Arsenal in the next round(s)

Yep, we came up against them at the worst possible time. Annoying

Arsenal were much better last season. Opposing coaches now know it’s about stopping Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard.

Isn't that's the point? Their defending stopped Arsenal scoring? Their midfield was dominated by Arsenal's until Klopp changed things in the second half, so up to that point, they relied on their defence to keep them in it. Arsenal spent too much time trying to find the perfect final ball or thread it into the bottom corner because Liverpool's defence blocked their way to goal.

I can't bear Liverpool, but they've absolutely done a number on Arsenal today, and they deserved that win.

We all would have took the Marseille win to sacrifice at Arsenal. We had a injury hit tired team out home game will be different.
Klopp master class at the break nullified Artetta.

Can’t agree I’m afraid. Arsenal’s chances weren’t just half chances. They were golden chances that they should have scored after breaking down Liverpool’s defence.

Granted Liverpool deserved the win in the second half, but first half should have been game over but for Sunday league finishing!
