Interesting to see Crawley drawn away at Torquay.

I’ve been to two Crawley away games in my life - both at Torquay.

I’ve only been to two games at Torquay - both against Crawley.

Those two games were when I lived in Cornwall and I’ve been back in Sussex for 8 years now.

This post is probably only interesting to me!

Did you not go when we played Torquay away in the FA Cup, whenever that was? (12 years ago?)

Used to go there quite a lot as a kid in the summer, as had family down there so usually caught first game of the season or a preseason friendly. Always had a soft spot for the other 'gulls'.

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
No fans permitted at any games ,extra time introduced and no money for first round losers . So most non league clubs will lose money on expenses on an away trip.

I see they've now changed that, giving some of the prize pot to losers in next couple of rounds.just basically taken money from the winners of the round and given some to the losers.

.......If there's no prize money then that's an absolute DISGRACE for every club who is pretty much living on the brink of financial meltdown at the moment. :annoyed:

Losers have never received money from the first round proper onwards other than the final and semis.
However by getting to the 1st round proper they have already won £23,194

Extra preliminary round (184) £1,125 Losers receive £375
Preliminary round (160) £1,444 Losers receive £481
First round qualifying (116) £2,250 Losers receive £750
Second Round Qualifying (80) £3,375 Losers receive £1,125
Third Round Qualifying (40) £5,625 Losers receive £1,875
Fourth Round Qualifying (32) £9,375 Losers receive £3,125
First Round Proper (40) £16,972 Losers receive £5,657
Second Round Proper (20) £25,500 Losers receive £8500
Third Round Proper winners (32) £82,000
Fourth Round Proper winners (16) £90,000
Fifth Round Proper winners (8) £180,000
Quarter-Final winners (4) £360,000
Semi-Final winners (2) £900,000
Semi-Final losers (2) £450,000
Final runners-up (1) £900,000
Final winners (1) £1,800,000

These figures are substantially less than last season though, approx half.

With prize money substantially lower this season, you can guarantee that this is the year we'll win it. Typical Brighton.

We really don't need an FA Cup run in our fourth season in the Premier League and wearing our old Division One relegation kit. Plucky 3rd Round losers will do me fine.

Surprised the Darrell Clarke derby isn't being televised, big chance of a giant killing.
