Rosberg to kick Schumacher's arse along with Alonso, Hamilton, Button and Vettell would be a great start to the Grand Prix season

from the explaination in the link, i t seems more about increasing downforce for the cornering.

which make sence and shows how it can increase speed - though i think you've got it the wrong way round, more air increases downforce.

the simple, lay answer is air is channeled directly over the rear wing to improve its performance.

According to this, it is the way I explained it, the way the airflow interacts with the wing on the straights reduces drag, therefore higher speed (assuming this article is correct, it is by USF1:wink:, but there are other articles saying the same)

Ferrari must be favourites with those grid positions and the fact that their car has had the most practice laps.

As a Lewis LOVER, I'm a bit concerned by that. I think we were all expecting McLaren to be right up there, but today proves they're not quite at the level of Ferrari/Red Bull. However, it is nice to see a quality driver getting the most out of the car and another limping into Q3 by the skin of his teeth. At least that's that argument settled once and for all. Whatever happens tomorrow, Lewis is the man.

Too early to lay into Button, qualifying was never his strongest point and he's been at the team 2 months and Hamilton has been there for yonks. It seems the McClaren may have been a bit bouncy because it is set up for a full tank of petrol which will make it handle very differently from low fuel qualifying.

Gonna be really interesting today I think,

I personally want Button to out drive Mr smug but with Lewis feet already tucked well and truly under the table will it ever be a level playing field for Jenson???

Vettel for an all the way win... Alonso 2nd, Hamilton 3rd.

Driver to watch (make most places) = Barrichello
