What a race and kudos to Alonso for holding Hamilton up. He MAY have got the win if he could have got past him quickly. I think Alonso really helped Ocon and Alpine. Great to see him back and being competitive

Highlight of the race, Alonso on the absolute edge, Lewis knowing a win was on the line but also valuable points if he was to collide. It was a brilliant series of laps, 2 amazing drivers, while upset we lost the Lewis v Max battle, to set up Alonso v Hamilton made the race. Delighted for Ocon. Really exciting race in the end.

Phenomenal race, so exciting! Everything that happened early on made the race really intriguing, apart from Verstappen's car getting so badly damaged. Would have liked to have seen the charge up the field & battle between him and Hamilton.

This has been the best season in many a year.

Bizarre and brilliant, Hamilton the only driver in the standing start then first to last in one lap!! Bottas team Maclaren next year!

If that race is one lap longer I reckon Hamilton wins it, absolutely sterling stuff from Alonso to earn his team (and teammate) the win, couldn't have asked for more from their senior driver there.

Also hats off to Williams, both drivers in the points is great to see. Sure it's a mad race but you've got to be in it to win it*.

That was a brilliant bit of driving from Hamilton and Alonso.
Really good race but it's a pity there are so many tracks where overtaking is so difficult.

It's not the tracks its the cars. GOod to see top drivers showing how it should be done.

RIP to the poor Marshall who lost his life @ Brands Hatch yesterday, hopefully MSUK show some balls and remove the licenses, permanently, of the two drivers that caused it.

He also “cracked” under pressure, only finishing third from being last. No good under pressure being another one of Mouldy’s hate filled agendas against him
