This "race" is pants.
Slow, almost silent, processional, devoid of any excitement, and on a circuit that's too small and looks like it's being held in a multi-storey carpark. Totally boring!
The over the top, whipped up amped up commentary is terrible. Whoever he is, he's really having to earn his money today finding something to try and keep anyone interested.
If this is the future, It needs a re-think.

Mind games by the sports biggest whinger. Trying to put the spotlight on Lewis, so any minor infraction will be scrutinised and the cloggy cheat can be as aggressive as he likes.

Wankers. Shame there can’t be a penalty for Red Bull for the spurious and time wasting challenge to the stewards decision at the race. Hamilton has been fecked over once already with the 10 second penalty imo. Pretty well the only people who blamed him were Red Bull and their ex drivers Webber and Coulthard

Sunday is going to be a “ must watch” Grand Prix. Max is going to be a bit mental imo

I like Max. He reminds me of Lewis when he was younger. Difference is that McLaren and Mercedes kept his misdemeanours in check and did not aggravate the situation by being bad losers when he got something wrong. His bosses have been much more professional over the years in dealing with disappointments than Horner is. It always seems that Horner thinks the world is against him. Maybe it’s his fear of megalomaniac Helmut and his penchant for sacking people who don’t perform?

Anyway you have the inside track on this, or suggest that you do, with your contacts. Enlighten me as to what new evidence Red Bull have that justifies a further punishment for Lewis.

I would disagree with you on Lewis previous teams keeping him in check, and that is where my problem lies with him, although from a less privileged background to many that make it, his tantrums would suggest that he was a spoilt rich kid. He is renowned for them on the inside and most that follow closely will know that. Yes, Max has fire in his belly, but it is distributed differently and he is more respected as a person, and that won't be me.

Just because I can get snippets, 1) it does not mean I will say them all, as the Hamilton signing changed last minute. 2) there are probably the media types on here prepared to make a story off the back of anything worthwhile.

It's just great to see other cars can squeeze some pressure on the Sunday drive that Lewis has had for the past 5 years.


Let's look forward to the Hungarian F1, and not worry about Horner and Wolff and see who can gain the upper hand, team and driver wise. Let's face it lewis was the winner with an ineffective penalty and the points, and Max did no wrong.

The gloves are certainly off and the knuckle dusters are on.

Let's face it lewis was the winner with an ineffective penalty and the points, and Max did no wrong.

Apart from having a 33 point lead and not having the intelligence/guile to avoid a collision, even if it was his line / corner or whatever else. Tactically he got it completely wrong, could have slotted into 2nd, at worse gives up 7 points and would retain a 26 point lead still, at best with only 1 lap gone, has the rest of the race to get the place back and win it.

Championships aren't just won on winning grand prix, they are won and lost on shrewd decisions, sometimes accepting an opponent has chanced their arm when they shouldn't have: turning in and hoping they back out is not a shrewd move when you're 33 pts ahead because they have nothing to lose and you do.

Prost, Schumacher, Senna, Hamilton - none of them are turning in with a 33 pt advantage in a Championship battle. 33 pts behind and being all over the back of Max as Lewis was, and I'd include Max in this; 33 pts behind they're probably all trying a move up the inside. 33 pts behind and in Max's position, yeah, probably turning in the same as he did – the assumption being the person 33 points ahead isn't going to risk a collision because it would be idiotic of them to do so. That's racing.

It was Hamiltons aggression that caused that accident, you don't have to take my word for it, see the penalty. But its making this season even more fun
