MV is the new Schumacher, what a ****. I suppose IF your team leader is a professional **** it will rub off.

Serious question, do you think Hamilton would do the same if he was in a slower car and it was your first proper opportunity to win a world championship?

It was not dangerous, loads of runoff.

Oh do **** off. Verstappen has the Schumacher dangerous driving gene, he 100% pushed Hamilton wide, the ****.

Didn’t hear you accepting that Verstappen has had the fastest car for most races this season.

Hamilton, classy, Vestappen, a dangerous driver who will cause a serious accident eventually.

Just for once accept that Hamilton deserved to win a race. Nobody has ever won from 10th place in Brazil, and considering the penalties he had he is undoubtably the GOAT

The thing that won him the race was staying out of the way of Verstappen’s elbows. He’d have been more than happy to hit Lewis and take them both out, just like Schumacher used to do with Hill with the ‘brake testing’ crap he’d pull.

I’m so proud to be British watching Lewis. He really represents this Country so well, he is the best of us, a British Sporting GOAT. What a hero.

It was the definite opening of the steering wheel wasn’t it? Perhaps you can accept being run out on a natural movement through the turn, but such a sharp change in direction seemed very intentional. Great driving from Lewis though, anticipated it and avoided the contact with a sharp bit of driving.

The problem I have is that the rules are not being consistently enforced and Max broke those today. If Max takes the normal racing line and closed the door on Lewis that is hard and marginal racing but that is fine (Lewis and Nico both did this at times in a couple of their ding dong seasons). Max didn't take the racing line but forced Lewis off the track to the extent that he also went 2-3 car widths off the track and that is not fine.

I don't think Lewis would have done that even before he won a WC. LH has always been a hard and aggressive driver, especially in his early seasons but Max just chucks his car into situations and gives other drivers a 'yield or crash' decision. A nasty piece of work and sad considering he has the talent to be a cleaner driver.

Yep, brilliant to be able to get behind a British sportsman that good in his sport. Made the weekend.

Serious question, would you have been on here crying about what a cheat Hamilton is if the tables were turned?
I think we all know the answer to that.

***K off yourself.

What is your problem?
You always need to get nasty over it.
You can not take a different viewpoint.

Yes, he drove well yes I said Merc would have both on the podium, please don't forget Lewis had a new engine in a very fast car, he was always going to be there or thereabout if he stayed out of trouble.

I expect him to squeeze Max to the end.

Non sulking? If you mean Sky. Brundle said Max was lucky to get away with it. Now Max warned for weaving to stop LH. But it failed.
I suspect it will be Little Jack Horner sulking along with the MadMax fans who will just say that Lewis wasn't the better driver it was the car again.

Horner IS that little creep at school, the snitch with the punchable face.

I don't watch F1, but stuck it on about half ago because of this thread. What did Verstappen do that was so wrong? Surely he doesn't want LH to get infront of him, so stand your ground kind of thing... What am I missing?

Great overtake afterwards tho

Standing your ground or holding your line is one thing. Deliberately not turning into the corner (possibly even turning out away from the corner) so that you go off the track and take the driver outside you even further off the track is plain cheating. He's very lucky Hamilton accepted his fate and didn't turn into him.

You think you do, you absolutely don't know what I would say.

I have seen many on here crying for weeks about Max and Horner, why is that?

Please don't forget it was Merc trying to cheat.

What's the blue and white flag for that they said MV got because he did this? Does that make any difference to the race itself?

Outstanding from Hamilton for the entire weekend a class act who had just got on with it.

Haven’t seen any conclusive angles of Max’s steering wheel for the incident yet to confirm either way.

A great spectacle of sport and can’t wait for the next 3, all of which are speed orientated. I suspect we will see a coming together again at some point as on paper Mercedes should have this now
