Cheats never prosper......what a load of bollox that saying is.

Enjoy the win guys. Just one question is Hamilton still able to win it this year? Most said Max had won it, they still have a quick car.
I just wish Ferrari and Mclaren could be up there on pace too.

Max probably will win it overall but one thing is certain there is not a driver competing today who has the ability to extract every ounce of talent, skill, experience to catch him.:clap2:

He won today and you are pissed off. Win/win.

And yes he is more than capable of winning the championship.

Sky giving Karen Horner more air time than actually appreciating that drive from Lewis, embarrassing.

Good though both of them were, Webber as well they knew they couldn’t have done it so assumed Lewis couldn’t either. Neither gave him much chance of doing it

Lewis is a different class to 99% of all drivers in F1 history, in fairness Max has the chance to be as good on what I’ve seen over the last couple of seasons

Looking forward to Horner chewing a wasp and Helmut being a helmet post race

This has worked out really well for me.

I’ve liked Verstappen from the very beginning. Not put off by his old petulance and impulsive stuff.

Considering Max wasn’t exactly controlled prior to the incident it’s a bit rich from Horner.

Fantastic to see the British GP won by a British driver. Which true patriot wouldn't have enjoyed Hamilton celebrating with the flag in front of a packed grandstand?

You reap what you sow and Max has a touch of the Sennas about him in the robust / borderline way he drives and defends. Most of the time that works as other will back out of it, but when they don’t things like today happen. It’s all very Senna v Prost like.

As for Horner he needs to calm down and shut up before he says something he shouldn’t.

Red Bull came out with a load of tosh today. This 'no overtaking at Copse' is bollocks and I seem to remember a certain Alex Albon doing it last year amongst others. I don't remember him being pulled up at any time.

On that first lap, they were both extremely aggressive. Max is more at fault because he had the faster car and the Championship lead. He can't expect Hamilton to get out the way when he knows his only chance to get past is the first lap. 2nd place or using strategy to get past wouldn't be a bad result. He should - and probably will - win the title still but he'd be better off being more cautious on occasion.

At least this makes it more interesting.

Horner the man who has defended his drivers for utterly stupid things in the past, talking like he’s on a high horse :lolol: I’m sure I remember Verstappen in his early years nearly getting a race ban and being labelled ‘crashtappen’ and yet Horner defended him vehemently.

I don’t mean that as a dig against Max because this was during his learning period, but at the time Horner was a staunch defender, I remember his defending Vettels dirty driving back in the day as well. Lewis got a penalty and won, yet apparently it’s a hollow victory according to Karen Horner.

FWIW, I think that was one of the all-time great Silverstone drivers from Hamilton. I suspect the fact it was Silverstone made him push that bit harder TBH toward the end. The roar was amazing. For me, that incident is probably 7-5 Hamilton's fault so I think the penalty was fair, justice done all round, time to move on. If Horner wants to keep getting pissy about it then that just shows him up for the small man that he is, if you don't like the heat get out of the kitchen.

A shame Lando couldn't have had a better fight with Bottas after his cocked up stock but there we go, after his week 4th is a massive achievement.

Horner backing up my previous assertion that he is a MASSIVE cock in that post match interview. No class at all

I can't believe how salty Horner sounded. Pretty much every former driver on the Sky expert panel called it as a racing incident as did the impartial Aston Martin team boss when interviewed. And that's because it was a racing incident.

Great for the title that Lewis is back in the race. Horner may want a procession but the fans do not.

In sport, it has been a very long time since i have heard such rubbish and sour grapes as I have just seen from Horner.
It was clearly 2 very good drivers not giving an inch as it should be and Max paid the price.
But anyone that even considers marrying Geri Halliwell must have a screw loose.
Clearly Hamilton should have been shot in pit lane as punishment.
