It's a good one.

Full of sh**

You need to post more, quality stuff.

My sauce tells me Hamilton's pen is hovering over a new contract. Mercedes are changing the livery from silver to black to spearhead Lewis's BLM campaign.

* my source is a newspaper and some of my statement is made up but some of it is true.

They are 99% sure, and you know me mate I would have only mentioned it on here if I thought it was true. My source said there is a tiny chance they are playing lewis, but it isn't Toto's style to do that.

Ps never believe the newspapers mate, they just spin shite like it's going out of fashion.

Just heard Hamilton will get ditched by Merc.

They are fed up with his demands, and his belief that he 'feels he is bigger than the team.'

Who would have thought it?

Multi million pound negotiations go to the wire and may or may not result in a lucrative deal for all parties shocker

It's down to the wire now, and their patience is wearing thin.

It won't be long now.

Whaaaaaaaat

I thought you only read the Mirror. How long have you been an Express reader???

Never mate, i am a bit like you i rarely believe what the papers say. The British press just seem to be a political mouthpieces for their owners and i dont like that one little bit. Ironically though i like the sports pages of The Express and even the Mail but i didnt read the article mentioned in a paper i found it online. So i think you can take what you want from the imformation, be it true or fabrication, what i will say though the sports pages in the pre- mentioned press have little political persuasion so they are more believable than the front page dross they turn out.:clap2:

That's exactly why I believe in sources instead and that's where my Info comes from as I am sure you know.

It's ok.

He was only ever in it for the knighthood(being the most successful driver in history - the 7 world titles, 95 race wins, 165 podiums and 98 pole positions - was just incidental and down to incredible good fortune). Now he's got it he can mooch off to the fashion world where his truculence and pettiness is de rigeur.

Just stick Russell in the car, you won’t even notice a difference in the results

There is NO WAY Mercedes are binning Hamilton however much Mouldy wants it to happen :lolol:

Ferrari or Red Bull would make them regret it for ever and a day as one of them pick up Lewis

I can see there could be an issue if, say, Lewis wanted one more season but Mercedes wanted two.

If Lewis repeats his 2020 season he'll have an unprecedented 8th Driver's Championship, 100 race wins, 100 pole positions. There will nothing left to achieve in Formula One.

Furthermore, Verstappen, LeClerc, Norris, Russell are only going to get better.

Why can't they just agree on one more season? Ideally, that would have been Lewis with Russell to learn from the master. Bottas was disappointing last season.

Fair enough my source was wrong, but this looked like it was nailed down. I texted him and he said 'note it is only a one year deal, but I will not go into detail why at this point'.

I am always happy to hold my hands up when I get things wrong and apologise, I hope you didn't have any money on it?

If only some of the mods were happy to hold their hands up when they clearly get things wrong.

I've made a note to put money on the opposite of what your sauce says.

Give me a ping when we're mathematically safe from relegation.

Story around why it’s a mutually agreed one year deal is going to be interesting when/if it comes out. Maybe both left too late and have signed a deal that neither was really happy about but gives them both breathing space to explore other options next year. Can see Russell being the driver for the season after this one.
