What a cracking start . . . . It very much reminds me of our historic racing, in vintage Dunlop tyres, we're all over the place when its wet, extremely challenging, and a hoot! Sideways everywhere.

Fantastic drive from Hamilton, now a seven-time World Champion and with the most GP wins of anyone in history.

Any of the clowns who say he only wins because he drives the best car, watch that race.

The way Lewis has grown over his career has been remarkable, he was always quick and good in the wet but he’s the perfect all round driver now. Mastered the tyres, mastered his car, mastered the wet, broken all the records. Never makes a mistake.

Best of all time.

A GOAT and a classic race too!

Brilliant day for F1.

I fell out of love with F1 a long time ago, but that race was phenomenal. First one I've watched flag-to-flag for about 15 years.

Can't quite believe Lewis went 52 laps on the same tyres, tearing up the field in those conditions.

GOAT :clap2::clap2:

I think we all know that he only wins because he has the best car.

I'll ignore the fact he lapped his team mate. Just got lucky didn't he? If Verstappen didn't keep spinning off he'd have beaten Hamilton for sure...

Outstanding achievement. A true all time great and a magnificent race to claim title number 7.

Very happy for him. Never thought Schumacher's records would be equalled, let alone beaten.

Congratulations Lewis, you are a true British legend and the greatest of all time!

Fantastic race and some brilliant drives.

Bottas was very poor.

How is it that a driver as good as Perez may not even be in F1 next season? That would be a travesty.

That little excursion from the lead (?) was the start of his error strewn period wasn’t it? I believe he was leading the title race and had just beaten Hamilton at Silverstone? I am setting myself up to be wrong here given my memory, but that’s how I remember it :lolol:

Anyway, what a drive by Hamilton, he is SO good that they were talking about who was driver of the day just before the end and they never even put Lewis forward, as hsi coming through the field when in trouble is the norm

Bottas is a good driver so it just adds to how well Hamilton drove that he could master the car when Bottas drove like he was on an ice rink. Mercedes was definitely not the best car today either, but Hamilton walked the race as Max lost his head (again). He needs to mature before he has any chance of beating Hamilton over a season.

So chuffed for Perez, take that Daddy’s boy!

Really gripping race this morning - bring back Istanbul onto the normal calendar!

Lewis really has been in a class of one this year and whilst the start of the race was tricky, it had turned into another masterclass by the end.

Really happy for Perez getting back on the podium, Red Bull gotta be having a serious look at him for that second seat now.

Haas look as though they’re going with 2 rookies for 2021 which would seem nuts if Perez is available. But like you say hard to believe a top team isn’t looking seriously at him.
