Can’t you borrow the company car and do it in 40 minutes?
I guess, but they kind of get a bit arsey about me having a few drinks before driving back. It's like a four glass (of wine) limit or something.

I know. Woke madness.

Always feel Portslade is bad and often stay down longer waiting for the London trains to come through. Not helped with Portland road & Victoria road either side of the crossing

You should see some of the crossings here. I don't personally live too close to any, but with the length of some of the freight trains here (because we barely do passenger trains), if you get stuck at the gate, you'll be waiting a while.

I also have a brother in law who was a firefighter (now retired), he said they'd generally average about one call a year to go scrape someone off the tracks.

In the UK back in the day the Funeral Directors used to have to, not one of the most pleasant duties, but I was always aware that the overwhelming majority of people we attended to were in a very, very dark place to resort to that.

I’d love to be able to use Blues and Twos to enter and exit football stadiums!

Am I right in thinking that emergency services have to log the event with HQ before they are allowed to use them these days?
