filling in the corners is a must I believe, we have seen this as most games have been sellouts and even if we sell the corner seats last because if they dont sell as said we can just cover them with A) a sponser or B) our logo

BUT before the club could even think of more seats going in they would seriously need to think about improving the trains, buses, coaches and car spaces as it really would be a nightmare 1,000's of more people trying to get on them, I know its unrealistic due to funding, time to build and local people moaning but 1. there should be a multi story car park close by to fit loads more cars in 2. maybe another train line running into brighton from falmer or a 3rd platform which then linked to the current rail line to go to brighton 3. some sort of tram line from falmer end up close to town

Top man!, you dont write sound bites for Edd Balls do you, takes a bit to make me laugh but that hit the spot.

All the time that Bloom is investing into the club just take the money and complete the ground.

Extra money from away support would soon pay for it, if West Ham, Palace, Leeds (to name but three) can fill 5,000 seats let them have it (if not required by home fans).

I love the Amex but sitting in the West Stand looking at the East Stand the ground does look unfinished. Build it and they will come and fill it.

Given that the stadium is higher geographically than the city centre I would have thought the obvious answer would be a big helter skelter. You would have to remember to bring your mat back to the next game however.

Failing that ski slope perhaps?

A High-Speed Monorail is the answer. It's easy, it needs to run from Lewes to Brighton, stopping only at Falmer in the middle. Two tracks, 6 trains. Easy. Would clear the stadium in about 20 mins.

Something like this. Sort it out Tony.

They could park up during the match over the stadium and double as exec boxes, or would that be pie in the sky.

What will happen next summer is this.

The south stand will become home supporters.
The East Stand lower will be away supporters.

The East stand upper tier will be home supporters.

The building at Brighton University next to the stadium will be demolished and replaced by coach parking.

With all the sides filled the capacity will be 30,000.

This is scheduled to happen in the close season ready for 2012-13.

How on earth can people say they don't want extra seats in?christ we need them in now and we need more seats for away fans, plenty more fans out there so get them seats in.

Bloody lack of ambition with many of our supporters, who cares if we have some empty seats as its about the future.

Would make sense if the east lower toward the South is made away fans as that us where all the club comp tickets are currently.

Yep, some people are very strange indeed. We might not fill 30,000 for every game, but I rekon if there had been space we would've done it at least twice this season and would probably be averaging 22/23k by now. They empty seats would just be the shit ones at the front of the stands or in the corners.

Lyle Lanley: Well, sir, there's nothing on earth
Like a genuine,
Bona fide,
Electrified,
Six-car
Monorail!
What'd I say?

Ned Flanders: Monorail!

Lyle Lanley: What's it called?

Patty+Selma: Monorail!

Lyle Lanley: That's right! Monorail!

[crowd chants `Monorail' softly and rhythmically]

Miss Hoover: I hear those things are awfully loud...

Lyle Lanley: It glides as softly as a cloud.

Apu: Is there a chance the track could bend?

Lyle Lanley: Not on your life, my Hindu friend.

Barney: What about us brain-dead slobs?

Lyle Lanley: You'll be given cushy jobs.

Abe: Were you sent here by the devil?

Lyle Lanley: No, good sir, I'm on the level.

Wiggum: The ring came off my pudding can.

Lyle Lanley: Take my pen knife, my good man.

I swear it's Springfield's only choice...
Throw up your hands and raise your voice!

All: Monorail!

Lyle Lanley: What's it called?

All: Monorail!

Lyle Lanley: Once again...

All: Monorail!

Marge: But Main Street's still all cracked and broken...

Bart: Sorry, Mom, the mob has spoken!

All: Monorail!
Monorail!
Monorail!

[big finish]

Monorail!

Homer: Mono... D'oh!

I really really hope that's true. It makes sense to have home fans behind Both goals imo.

Its just those withdean hardcores who can't let go:)

I reckon we would average 24/26k no probs if we had the seats available, the points scheme could then be scrapped and tickets would become far easier to purchase,we could,ve had 30k for the palace game, plenty of clubs could bring 4/5k aswell.Lets not also forget that watching the albion isn't cheap so the club could reduce prices with a bigger capacity.

The one thing that could be done on the transport front to improve things is to extend the platform at Falmer station as there seems plenty of room looking on the satellite image on Google maps. I don`t know how many carriages we are getting on the trains now though but I`m sure one of our resident train spotters can fill us in.
