Having looked these highlights I'd say:

1. We are actually a quality team technically and were probably heading for victory before the sending off.
2. Harding didnt even deserve a yellow. A solid challene clearly taking all the ball and his legs werent even off the air in anyway. Cant believe the reaction from you lot.
3. Its quite blatantly obvious why you are absolutely miles adrift at the bottom of the fair play league.
4. Adam El Abd is not only exceptionally ugly. He's also a cheating fouling cunt.
5. What goes around comes around and you will be playing Crawley next season. :lolol:

A quality technical team who get completely lost when there big man up front got sent off pushing on of our players (Sussex born foreign cheater) in the face.

Yeah, okay. How sour are those grapes?

Also, how is it obvious? You commited many more fouls than we did in that game, but carry on with your delusion.

I asked the Club's line the question... Just to reiterate that other clubs seem to enjoy far longer highlights than we are offered. Just watched 13 minutes on the Burnley player. Is it possible to rectify this difference of air time please?

Answer That's because other clubs commit internal resources to these highlights - which we haven't been able to do in the first half of this season, as we have been working to establish the Seagulls TV channel at the Amex. It is something we are looking at for early 2012.

I think that's BS tbf. In order to get highlight, be it 3 minutes or 20 minutes they have to get the whole game ... then they go through it and edit it. I suspect it does take a bit more to get 20 mins than 3 but hardly much at all. The Saints player just put the radio commentary over the top so that's no additional work.

'fraid I think their answer is total bollox and hope they pull their finger out soon

Why are our highlights so shit???

I presume the digital team are very busy at the moment with other ventures and working in new facilities with new equipment.

If they offered me enough to justify moving from London I would sort it out good and prowpa!

Does this mean pay-to-view live coverage do you think?

1. Possibly, but the commentators themselves said the first half was fairly even.
2. Yes, he did deserve it. Good substitution by Adkins though, he wouldn't've lasted until half time.
3. You made almost three times as many fouls as us and got the same number of cards.
4. Granted on the latter point. He's a beautiful man XD
5. I think you'll find the 'coming around' was infact yesterday's game.

Do you not think it would be a better use of your time to go on your own forum and discuss what Nigel can do to arrest your slump? I imagine there's a lot of panic there and they could use your calm and intelligent leadership

I said something on Twitter about the poor highlights packages on Seagulls player. Was making reference to Reading showing whole 90mins AND 20min highlights and Burnley 11min package - compared to our 4mins.

Answer was would people prefer 90mins or 20mins. I think the club are looking into changing it

At least paying for Seagulls player, we are allowed to log into other teams without extra cost

Not having been at the game - but having listened to some of the Radio Solent commentary at the time and seen the Saints highlights - it seems a closer match that some of the emptier vessels are reporting. There seems to be a lot of noise about how Saints were clearly going to win before the sending off. A good performance from a stretched squad. Well done lads.

not sure who the co-commentator is but at least he put the other guy straight re Lambert, who was more concerned with how many different ways he could call El-Abd a cheat!

and that burst of pace from Buckley when he set up Cook's chance is unreal - i thought yesterday he just nipped past him but he's actually slaughtered him over a few yards.

Exactly. In some ways I wish Lambert hadn't been sent off, as I have a feeling we would have won anyway - and they wouldn't have any excuses.

Why are Southampton fans having a go at El Abd's looks by they way, some twonk was salgging him off to Mrs El Abd's twitter. Just why they care about how one of our players looks is a bit weird tbh.

As much as I hate to say it, I watched Dean Hammonds interview on there and thought he came across really well! Admits Saints got some "decisions" at St Marys, says he's still good mates with Adam El Abd

I don't think it was a foregone conclusion southampton were going to score and win before the sending off.

I don't think el abd fouled Lambart, he challenged him, lost his balance, lambert recognised he had lost the ball and tried to buy a foul by falling into the off balance el abd and they both went down, and the ref, rightly, ignored both their claims for a foul. Lambert then reacted badly.

Greer's looked like he was put his arm up to jostle for space, but started it too soon and ended up clobbering the saints player. I don't think greer did anything that doesn't happen in every game, both ends, but he mistimed it and so had to go. (much like when a player jumps up and swings their arm anticipating an opponent jumping with him and having to jock for position, but the other guy doesn't jump and you end up elbowing him in the head). It was a red, but I don't think it was the nonsensical malicious attack some seem to think of it as.

El Abd was also tripped (or tried to get a player into trouble by running over their slightly protruding foot) as he ran across the area to celebrate one of the goals.

Also, southampton have committed more fouls than us this season, they just don't have a reputation for it, so refs don't think they need to lamp down early, thus painting themselves in a corner, the way they do with brighton.
