Extended Burnley Match Highlights

1. why doesn't seagulls player offer longer highlights (for the same cost as everyone else)?
2. why doesn't seagull player have a proper commentary team?

i am going to write to them - but is worth doing it as a petition?

I was pissed off by the player highlights already - ridiculous not to have the cms lob at the end or the vincelot red. To know that burnley get all this makes me almost livid. Who makes them - our club or some third party?

Just watched the highlights on Burnley player, VERY impressed. That's what I'd expect to be paying for.

I've also written to BHA through the link on Seagulls Player to let them know how I feel.

Sound, camera angles, replays, length of highlights all at least twice as good on Burnley Player..

OMG wish I hadn't seen that now - even more angry! If that's a red there will be 10 players off per game. And even more of a joke they play on 30 secs before the f***ing FOURTH OFFICIAL gets involved after being moaned at by the Burnley bench too - JOKE! f***ing furious.

Also says it all re the Barnes one that the commentators from BURNLEY assumed McCann was the one sent off.

Notice that their commentators also use the pronunciation of Adam El-Habd. Must be a northern thing as Aspinall and Sir Norman Gall also use this.

I have looked and looked at both incidents, I can't see anything a player in stripes does to deserve a card let alone a red.

Barnes sending off - That whole incident was a mess. I thought it was a terrible decision but the more I see it (plus having had the chance to slow it down couresy of their highlights) the worse it looks. That said he pulled out of the tackle, there was no intent to hurt the player and IMO the Burnley reaction was what cost him. If you're going to be that petty McCann should also have walked.

What I like most was the highlight at 14:50 - our brilliant counter attack resulting in CMS' lobbed finish that went a foot wide. Seagulls Player never even featured it.

Most teams, even last season offered more substantial highlights than Seagulls Player. The monthly subscription is worth it just to watch the oppositions highlights of our games.

Interviews, Press conferences and big screen replays are good on Seagulls player though...

beggars belief that som many on this board (although not this thread) think that barnes deserved to go...i didn't think so then and still don't....old Naylor sided on the ref..even quoting a former perm ref...as if he would say different...at 15 mins i felt as if he had ruined the match for me and half thought about going home..i was convinced we would get slaughtered...the players were magnificent and the atmosphere amazing

Agree. There is more physical stuff going on in the penalty box at every corner in every game. Also why did it take so long for the 4th official to flag it??

Yes Noone dived a bit although there was contact. Everyone did. Because our only chance of a point was to even up the numbers. You would do the same.

I have watched the Barnes 'tackle' many times. I cannot decide. I am not sure that anyone can. What was the intent? But the fact was that the referee decided he was certain. And that to my mind is bias.

And of course the retaliation by the Burnley player deserved a red. Strangulation of a player on the floor is an assault. Again.. the referee showed bias.

Suggest EVERYONE on NSC sends a link of that video to the FA. If nothing else, 20,000 fans were cheated on Saturday by the officials. How much did we pay to see a football match, only for it to be turned into a fisaco by the referee after just 12 minutes. It makes me sick with disgust.

Its an joke the reply is what I thought had happened for both and the refs last game was Burnley v Burton Albion and he gave 2 penalites to Burnley!
