Me and a mate went to 'The Chocolate box' in Boca to see a game v Argentinos Juniors when we were in BA (cue :bla::bla::bla: from Jamon Jamon !) and it was the most intense football experiance i have ever witnessed live.

Funnily enough, after the match the old bill kept the fans behind for nearly an hour and there was no hastle or shoving like you might have thought.

Btw it was £3 to get in and a full stadium guided tour of River's ground including dressing rooms, directors box ,trophy room, on the pitch etc worked out at 50p!

I loved Argentina

I thought it was great, really enjoyed the programme. Mind you, I've always wanted to go to Argentina/Brazil, would be a dream trip.

Would fly to Buenos Aires, then to Patagonia, back to BA for a few days, get the ferry to Uruguay and back, fly to Rio, do that for a bit, then finish off at that famous beach up the coast at Buzios(sp?). Throw in a couple of matches, marvellous. Now just need a month off work, and persuade the better half this is a trip that can be undertaken with a two or three-year-old.

Done most of that and can recommend the ferry part to Colon and the flying to Rio. If you could fit it in , a trip to Santiago would be the icing on the cake. A visit to watch Colo-Colo at the base of the Andes a lovely way to watch the beautiful game !!
