I might just bite the bullet and buy, say, 4 season tickets on behalf of NSC and cross fingers that they get used sufficiently to make them pay. If they don't NSC loses some cash and I cancel for the 2012-13 season.
I will def. be interested as I work every other saturday so would love to be able to grab a couple of spare tix now and again.

Will there be preferential membership schemes?

Friend of mine lives in Chester and will be getting one. In fact he bought one for this season as well solely so he could be a bit further up the list to get one for next season!

I've been communting from Toulouse for the past 2 years to the Withdean. Booked my seat in the west stand on Wednesday. So as long as Mrs Gersgull is happy to see me fly off every other friday night I'll be there.

having recently moved to cornwall, bad timing as far as the new stadium is concerned but i have already organised and paid for my season ticket for next season. It may be a 6 hour journey but how could you not be there after all these years of campaigning .

Bozza, a brilliant idea and one that myself and my son would be interested in. We were going to get 2 ST until earlier this week when I got my redundancy notice, so would be more than grateful to join in. I know demand would be high but even just to get to one game in the opening season would be brilliant.

(Still working on a plan if poss to go ahead with STs though !)

Can I ask what you mean by "preferential membership"

Best not to open a can of worms, though Manx is on the right lines!

If it was just me, I would almost definatly have a ST and either try and sell on the unused tickets or just accept it, but it would have to be 2 as my wife is a massive football supporter as some will know who see us at away games, so to double up on it all would be a cost I can not afford or justify.

That will be difficullt because the tickets are not paper based, but loaded onto a plastic card, about the size of a credit card. So if you give your season ticket away, you not only give away the match you can't make, you also give away all your future matches. And how confident will you be that the person to whom you are lending the card will (a) give it back and (b) not go mad in your seat, for which you as the seat holder are responsible , and answerable, for.

I am fully aware how the system works, obviously it comes down to trust, I can't believe anyone would go exactly nuts and to keep the card would be pointless, but as i say it would come down to trust, but it wont affect me anyway.

I have supported Brighton since 1948, and hope that I can purchase my first season ticket. Born in Burgess Hill, my family moved away in 1948, and from that time on, I have never lived less than 80 miles from the ground. I now want to purchase a ticket even though I will only be able to get to about 25% of home games. I feel that having a director who has spent mega bucks, the club need all they can get, and even though I wont be at most games , the club will have an income from the empty seat. Sharing ticket costs, will have its problems if all parties want to go to the same game. I would prefer that if you cannot get to a game, phone the club and let them resell your seat, with the income going to the club.

I am getting one. I have lived aroad since 1996 and had one until 2005 before finally giving up. I really don't want to miss the first game and have family that will use the ticket now and again.

I think there would be many peolple up for it, as long as the system is managed, as in everyone who is interested joins a sort of "NSC Season Ticket Club" and pre books the games, that way any tickets not used can be sort of advertised on here nearer the game and hopefully taken up, and it will prevent anyone saying it has been rigged just so regulars or people with high post counts or anything else ridiculous like that is bought up.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Away games in the north west only (assuming there are any to go to). No home games for me

You could always contact the club and say you have lost your season card and it will be cancelled, with a new one being issued for an admin fee.
