So in the last nine seasons, six teams that were top at Christmas got automatic promotion

Cause for some guarded optimism, and we've got two games in hand on Wednesday

Everybody is basing this on Wednesday being the most likely challengers, which I cant argue with, if only because of Mandaric and his probable trasfer dealings. What we mustnt forget is the other clubs with game sin hand over Wedbesday and are only 1 or 2 points behind them, which still makes it only 2 wins when we lose the same as Wednesday, to dispose us at the top. Not that I think they will.

Yep that's exactly what i said when someone said we'll be 8 clear if we win both games in hand - i assure you we won't be. Maybe 5 points clear... Only 9 clear of Weds - There's so many teams just below - one of them at least will go on a good run.
