Exeter Highlights- The Exeter throw in

Anyone else noticed the Exeter player kicking the ball out and then his team mate returning it to him to take a quick throw in. Linesman (who was admitedly 2 yards away!) let him get away with it and they nearly scored.
Total rubbish officiating.

I've just seen that. I can't believe they were able to get away with it. The Linesman, as you said was right next to it, but even the ref should have realised if he was paying attention. The ball was clearly kicked out of play by an Exeter player, only to get thrown in by another one. You can see Ankergren start running to the ref in protest once the ball had gone out as well. Still, we got a good result, so I won't let it worry me too much!

Very sneaky. It happened so quickly and smoothly that it has to make you wonder...

On the BBC highlights it doesn't actually show the ball going out but shows the players complaining after the shot. Think it's from 1 minute 7 seconds in.

As I said it doesn't show the ball go out, but shows the throw in taking place from 1 minute 7 seconds

Just watched it myself, either handball as the ball wasn't completey out off play when he flicked it up, or our throw as the ball wasn't out off play when he flicked it up to take the quick throw.
