Amazing silence from the club on this - who will be next to be guilty in the BHAFC kangaroo court ?

That is the Question.

It seems to be a one man judge and jury.

This Hebberd seems to have more influence than even Bellotti ever did.

But it's got bigger than a little show, and all involved well played.

Seriously, well done, I love the podcast.

Cheers.

Gull's Eye has gone, and in the new age we have you guys as a potential mouthpiece when things aren't right.

We haven't set ourselves up to be anyone's voicepiece. Aside from out own little gobby ones.

Call it as it is, and if you think Hebberd is a wanker, then say it.

Don't lick his bum just to get him on the show and dodge a very serious issue.

I said earlier I have every intention of asking him on - originally to talk about the first season as Falmer. I haven't asked him yet.

I have also said I would be happy to raise general issues. I will NOT ask about about an individual case - specifically this one. One, the club won't discuss it, and even if they did, what about the considerations of the person in question? He hasn't said we can speak for him. Nor should anyone ask him to ask us to do so.

We don't have people on the show just to insult them. In a example case like this, we'd rather have someone on in order to clarify some answers, not to satisfy some what appears to be bloodlust.

Agree with most of this, but the few incidents in 1901 this season, mainly relate to lack of respect from opposition fans and a resistance to accept from some aLBION FANS. iN FACT THE LACK OF RSPECT FOR RULES AND REGULATIONS IS ENDLESS WITH SOME aLBION FANS.

This Palace guy was out of order , if the Stewerds did what we ask them to ( chuck him out) then no further problem , this guy was well over the top and if it wasn't for seats in the way many more fans would of layed into him including me ! 1901 or not , its just not exceptable , he gave it large because he thought it was corporate , and it is , but he never thought there would be so much anger from genuine Brighton fans behind him , he soon shut his mouth . But then carried on after goal 3 . Even the bill said he did not turn round and did not raise his arms , what a load of bollocks as i did see it clearly . Tthe guy did not throw any punches at all , as i was watching after the game , i was so pissed off i watched where he was going (Palace fan) , f---ing liberties ! Can't say too much ! It seems the old bill have different eyesight from everyone else !

As I said before, though this seems to have been missed out - I'll wait for a club statement before working out what to do next.
But the Club HAVE made a statement - earlier today - and it's an inadequate one:-

Hi there,

Regarding this thread - Exclusion of a fan following incident at Brighton v Crystal Palace 27/09/11

would it be possible to have a club statement on its actions and the subsequent findings of the Football Ombudsman, please? I think myself and many other supporters are very concerned at what went on in this case and want assurances that it will not happen again.

Thanks

We do not comment on individual cases. If an individual has a complaint they must contact the club, directly, themselves.

It ok them saying they WON'T comment but they NEED to comment.

This person has been accused of assaulting 2 people and then through investigation has done no more than point and ask someone to show some respect in the HOME end.

The club need to reassure fans they too WON'T be treated the same way

They won\'t give you that reassurance mate, because if you find yourself in a similar situation RH will treat you with the same contempt. Someone above mentioned that the man thinks he is Judge, Jury and Executioner...and they have hit the nail on the head. If he gets it into his noggin that you are a wrongun, then you are, no if\'s no buts. He won\'t change his ways after reading the report, in fact I would bet my bottom dollar that the writer of that report has just received a letter saying that they are banned from the Amex until the year 2198, and only then if they sign a good behavior contract.

Has anyone heard if this Inocent Brighton fan has had an apology from the club yet? If not then they are a disgrace!

I sat next to him at the game and can honestly say I don't know what goading you are talking about. Are you sure you are not confusing the Brighton fan in question with the palace fan (who certainly was goading Brighton fans). And in my opinion yes he did act in a responsible manner.

Sweeping under the carpet spring to mind. Maybe it's best for everyone to put this to bed now as a bad episode. It's done and I doubt very much any apology from certain people will be forthcoming.

I think that's precisely what shouldn't be done, as it will give certain people the idea that they can continue to dish out kangaroo justice without being held in any way responsible, even by the Ombudsman.

Look whether you like it or not it ain't going to happen. It should, of course it should but there is no chance of an apology from said person/people so it's best to move on now imo.
