Actually - country and folk singing is littered with warblers and yodellers. Dick Gaughan, Lindisfarne, Steeleye Span, Nick Drake, John Martyn, Sandy Denny.

Johnny Cash's missus had a superb yodel on her. Hank Williams could yodel like an Austrian. Dr John sings like he's got a mouth full of jambalaya.

If you're going down the yodelling road, how about LeAnn Rimes.

Chris Martin is an amazing vocalist, dont know if his voice counts as unusual but its very distinctive and his range is sick.
