[Technology] Excel help needed!

I run a football group, and I'm trying to simplify recording of the weekly subs, using a spreadsheet.

Starting with a Balance (F2), I want to add any weekly payments (E3, and below) and subtract £2 subs if they play (D3 = "Y", and below).

I thought the (fairly simple) formula shown would calculate a running balance, but something's wrong! Any ideas?

Surley its just a mis spelling of 'IF'

Ah, I thought I needed the "Immediate IF" function rather than the humble "IF"!

Brilliant, thanks all. It was so much simple when I made them bring £2 every week, rather than bank transfers or tenners!

IIF is what you'd use in Excel VBA, but use IF in a formula.
