Gary Stevens in Chalky Road - I can't say how I know this - suffice to stay I do and it was very nice inside and he used to dive a red ford escort and I can remember the plate - how sad is that!!!!!!

Neil Smillie lived halfway down on the right in Western Road, Hurstpierpoint. Often had a beer in the New Inn and once walked into my back garden whilst my wife was cutting up a cake with blue and white icing on top. She very nearly dropped it. The cake.

Wardy lived in Mile Oak Road (or might have been chalkey road) at one time, I was his paper boy.
