Well, he's 24 and playing in League One which should give you a clue.

Given Alzate, Connolly and so forth I don't think Potter would have minded giving him the chance if he was good enough (or close to good enough), which he most likely wasn't.

That said, he's more successful than 99% of all footballers on the planet and can be very proud of what he's achieved in his career so far.
