I don't think I've ever seen a game with so many short corners and free kicks pointlessly worked back towards our own half. Have we even tried putting a single one into the box, or having a shot (Dunk's excepted)?

so is it down to the players being so stupid they don’t realise it’s not working and then trying something different, or nonsensical coaching that drills them into only ever trying one style, even if it produces nothing

Well they just need to watch last week's game v Man Utd or even the Chelsea game. Today has been awful - our first league match this season like that. Perspective.

Potter seems to have turned Dunky, White and Webster into league one defenders. Ryan must have super glue on his boots as he can’t get off his line!
For all the plaudits for throwing the points away v Utd and playing decent v Chelsea we are still a bottom 5 side!!

Dunk, White and Webster are good players and we know they can play well, but heaven knows what has happened today.
More and more, one has to think it has a lot to do with managerial instructions and coaching.
Anyway, what do I know, but summat ain't right.
