We mustn’t lose to Villa or Bournemouth. Someone will need to take that greasy weasel Grealish out.

The numbers travelling (apart from London matches) are at a fraction of the excited number doing so in 2017/18. A combination of; they ticked off the stadia and why travel to see almost certain losses.
That's still not going to help me get a ticket at Bramhall Lane though. So the numbers can't be that bad.......

Luck is not with us at the moment

You didn’t watch it then?

Very little to do with luck, second best all over the pitch for 75 minutes.

It was inevitable Everton would be up for it, but surprising how little fight we had.

The harsh reality IMO, is that Ancelotti is a better manager than Potter, but the biggest factor is Everton have better, stronger players.

Apart from you and a few others, no-one expects us to get into Europe. We just need to move in the right direction. Thus far this season, we have. We've got a big six games coming up though.

It's worrying that we are relying on a such an error ridden, slow two players in the middle. Stephens in particular has resorted to looking backwards all the time. First few months he was head up looking to progress the ball.

... has a familiar ring to it doesn’t it .......

The style has improved since last season, the lack of cutting edge not much.

The lack of goals Titanic has hit the ice again, except this time we're not the defensive deck hands desperately trying to plug the holes to stop more water getting in.... we're the orchestra, keeping everyone entertained and smiling as the waterline approaches!

Just tuned in and quel surprise. Albion away in goalless hardly any shots defeat shocker. The Argus must just have a template to do the match reports with...several years old now too!!

To be fair we badly missed Mooy and Alzate who do a lot of running off the ball. Propper seems to hardly break into more than a jog and doesn't give any outlets.

Not expecting to get to Europe. How are we going the right way? We have more possession but it ends with the same results, especially away!
You are either Palace, a complete and utter simpleton or both.

And yes, the Venn diagram shows that the former generally equates to the latter. But we do have our own share of morons so I've cut you some slack.

Extremely toothless going forward and final ball poor. Cannot see where the goals are coming from.

Quite.
Trossard may have hit the bar, but we largely carry him away from home, he offers little without the ball and his delivery is inconsistent at best.

Alzate was great when he came on plus Ryan and Bernardo, but it was a poor effort by everyone else IMO.

it would be interesting to see how far Propper moves in a game (I didn't say run)

Has anybody else worked out what Tony Boom is doing is a long term project?

Just a proper infuriating watch today, really. I think more because I know that we’re MUCH better than what we showed for 80 minutes of that game. So unbelievably inconsistent. Here’s to next week though.
