Winning second balls would help

..and keeping possession for more than 2 passes would also be welcomed

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
On a positive note on a very tricky first half. We haven't conceded a goal from any of Everton's eight, yes bloomin' eight, corners!!
So we appear to have tightened that weakness up, maybe? :smokin:

Are we hoping for a 0-0 and will stay the same in the 2nd half.
Hope not, Everton will be pissed off they did not score with all that possession they will come out firing and possibly score in the first five minutes, now fat sam has got hold of them.
We need to change things now to get hold of the ball, not on 60 or 70 minutes.
Hoping that Everton are having one of those games when they will not score if they were there all weekend.

If it carries on the same they will score. We're not far away here- just a bit of tinkering and we can do this. The further the game goes on 0-0 the more they will attack, the more careless they will get, the more space there will be and the more the fans will get on their backs.
This has happened accidentally- they should be winning, but somehow we're still very much in it. Let's take advantage of it. A great 45 minutes and we're safe.

March is twice as sharp as Kayal at the moment. I don't rate Kayal at this level and with not much match sharpness it has to be our weak spot.

March is much too lightweight to be one of two in the midfield...imo

Have to admit their passing and running off the ball is vastly superior at the moment.

Oh you were being serious!.
I thought it was just an "even March would be a better CM option than Kayal" type comment..

Ok, i feel he is only a bit light weight when running at speed, if he is winding a few tackles in the middle he should be ok and linking up with Gross.

What would you do ???
