Well well well, the Devil was in the detail. Most pickers became unstuck choosing Molumby or Pröpper to shore up the midfield in the absence of the combative Bissouma whilst Potter went for flair and experience in Lallana.
Others underestimated Potter’s attacking determination choosing a single Striker in Maupay.
But we had a record three players correctly predicting the team and formation and earning maximum points, congratulation to dadams2k11, origigull and martin tyler
All new posters were awarded 10 bonus points to get them going. This promotion was a one off so if you missed it, hard luck (you now know how our team felt in the dressing room after the match!).
Here is the leaderboard (new easier format for me copied from the legendary score predictor thread):

How to play:
As ever, you need to select Potter’s starting 11 and starting formation.
1 point - Correctly selected player
3 points - Correctly selected formation
11 points - Bonus if you correctly select the whole team.
Competition closes just before the official team release (I’ll be checking very closely this time martin tyler)!
Simple!
Our Swedish Potter-Stalker still leads the competition but he’ll be kicking himself about not getting full marks this time round. Get yourself the maximum 25 points and anyone can jump right up the table.
So unwrap that toffee, plunge it into your mouth, chew, contemplate and put yourself in Potter’s shoes.
Will he stick with picking his attacking three up top with Connolly, Maupay and Trossard?
Will the sublime Alzate slip back in alongside the brilliant Bissouma and what will happen to Lallana of those two play?
Finally, after another mistake from Ben White midweek, could Burn or Veltman get the nod?
It’s time to Predict Potter’s Picks.
Good luck!
