Hi all. First away trip to Everton with my 8 year old son. He’s desperate to get something signed by the players. Any advice on when the team bus will arrive and his chances of getting something signed. Thanks all.

Zero. Players are under strict instructions not to sign anything.
Reason. Too much stuff being sold on ebay.
Even the training session last season had fans in the upper west so no contact was made with the players.
Oh, what a shame. I thought away game might be possible. My lad will be gutted

In most old grounds you can see the players getting off the coach but never a chance to get photos or signatures, get to the entrance by about 1pm and wait, all depends on the way the stewards operate.

There is a ballot before every home game for junior supporters, if you are selected you get autographs from players - we haven’t been selected yet but some people on here have

Its a real shame, really is time to ban the beggers with signs from the ground which'll be a good start

Back in the Withdean days the junior seagulls events were brilliant, still treasure my daughters photos on the pitch after the training session with Bobby Zamora and Gary Hart among others

Compare and contrast with the womens game. Even the Lionesses take time to walk around the ground after the game signing shirts and flags and taking selfies. It's sad that the club have stopped youngsters engaging with their heroes apparently just to protect the clubs "image rights". Sad the way some things have gone since we became a "big club".

That's not true at all, players were getting abused and if you saw the crowds outside the east stand post match waiting for Mitoma it was actually becoming a little dangerous add to the fact there were full time merch sellers getting signatures over and over again the decision was made by the club instead of leaving players in awkward positions.

Maty Ryan often used to make a point of coming into the North Stand to chat to young fans after games. Top man Maty

Becoming much more of an us (loyal but irrelevant supporters) and them (overpaid and over important) football players who`ll walk past your eight year old wanting an autograph. Shame on them and the club.

I used to just go down the bottom during warm ups and shout the players name 😂

Some people will shake their supporters hands.
