Never stay in the one near Busch Gardens in Tampa. It's a hovel. In fact avoid that whole area. They appear to have built the them park in Tampa's equivalent of Moss Side.

...no, but my first job on leaving school was in a Best Western hotel and the management cheated us out of our tips...fair to say that I still avoid that chain wherever possible.

I stayed in one in Dallas about four years ago, it was not much good but it was cheap.

Stayed in one in Charleston a few years back. They double charged me and it took ages to sort out during which time they were rude and unhelpful, even though they had f...ed up. Never used the chain since.

I stayed in a few in Florida, the one in Naples was excellent. Will be going again at the end of the year.
