Ever got revenge ?

I do not take any pleasure from the following but it is rather poetic. When I was about 16 someone stole a bicycle from me. I found out through the grapevine who it was, and where it was (bottom of a river.) It was stolen and dumped because someone could not be arsed to walk home that night. I could not prove who it was, and the tealeaf was a member of a nasty family so I was slightly reluctant to do anything anyway.

A few months later I read in the local paper the thief had their hand partially severed whilst working on a lathe without the safety guard in place.

Divine retribution?

Wasn't this a film with Matt Damon in it?

In L.A, I had some tosser from Leeds who started picking-up on my g/f at a party, basically putting on the smoove talk with me right there next to her. When she went to the kitchen later, he grabbed her and tried planting a kiss on her like he thought he was Cary Grant. I found that bit out when she told me after everyone went home.

He found out I was looking to have a little chat, and next time I saw him he laughed "here comes trouble" and then "what are YOU going to do about it!" like I was easy to walk over because he was a lot taller than me, and then he agreed to a fight, saying "I'm ready"

For the next two days I had loads of hang-ups on my answering machine, til I picked up the phone with him offering me the "opportunity to pay the hospital bill" for his broken nose, or he'd take legal action!

After I laughed at that one, he sent round the servers for the lawsuit he filed.

I simply called one of his mates and mentioned that I'd have immigration take him back to Leeds if he went to court, or I heard another squeek.

The silence was golden. He obviously didn't have his 'green card'
