I'd love to go on Millionaire. My general knowledge is pretty good and I reckon I'd make a few quid. But no joy so far.

brighton, actually
write to the poduction co. of each show you want (see end credits of any programme), or to the channel its on- they will hopefully redirect you to right place..

i've been on two (chain letters, made by tyne tees tv), and 100% (channel 5, i think).

rather nerve wracking when the stage lights are on you.. but quite a rush.

i got runner up prize on each show- it is harder than you think, when not sat on your sofa at home, nice and relaxed!

if you do get on, be nice to everyone until the game starts, than go for gold- the others want to win as much as you do!

I appeared on Catchphrase in 1993, but was beaten by Susan from Romford.
I was ahead for most of the game, but the match swung crucially on the phrase \"Don;t put all your eggs in one basket\". The basket was so poorly drawn I could barely recognise it . The so-called BASKET looked more like a piece of toast, so seeing the eggs in it, I said \"The Great British Breakfast\". Roy Walker came out with that \"its good but its not right\" bollocks, then Susan jumps in with her STAB in the dark at it, got it right, and I never really recovered.

The day was further soured when backstage I accidentally tripped over Roy Walkers rucksack that had his lunch in. He called me a clumsy c unt. Not quite as nice a fella as you;d think.

.. i also tried fifteen to one, but that is VERY hard to get on- the prize may be not so hot, but it would give you bragging rights down the pub. also met michael g stewart, who is a nice guy.

Did you also meet his brother William G Stewart, who actually hosts Fifteen to One? :jester:

My girlfriend was on 100% once. Two of my friends have been on the Weakest Link. And I know an NSCer who was on University Challenge.
