Good to read. The Evening Star was one of my Grandpa's regulars back in the 80's. He liked it because it didn't have musicor fruit machines. I seem to remember I drank Directors and he did a mean door stop ham and mustard sandwich. The landlord was a not totally dour Scotsman.
