So I can understand why he hasn't played but I struggle to understand how he will suddenly start playing for a different club.
I think the implication in the article and from people on here, is that he has been (mostly) fit since September but has only started twice. Obviously had the injury in Jan but according to The Athletic that was a separate ankle issue not related to the ligament problem that kept him out for so long.

On paper he has now recovered from all his ailments, but hasn't been utilised or trusted by the manager (as per the rumour). His move to West Ham is an opportunity for him to get more minutes and show that Hurzeler (if the rumour is true) was wrong about him.

Sounds perfectly sensible.
And there's me reading that we are the worst run club since Bradford Park Avenue in the 1950s.

Performs well and he's off to bigger clubs than West Ham, doesn't perform well and he's probably off for less money somewhere less exciting. He's 20, there'll be a ton of clubs willing to take a punt on a potential world beater if we have to cut the price to make it happen.

We don't have to cut the price. If he performs well, either someone bids a lot, or he comes back.

If his problems have been injuries, I'm not sure why there should be a problem with us.

I see your later posts suggest he's not been particularly injured since September.

Because he's not really been injured (apart from a new ankle injury in Jan) since September, yet has barely played for us.

The club were clearly very open to a permanent sale last week and had the Saudis gone for Boniface instead of Duran, a permanent move to Leverkusen likely would have happened. There has seemingly been a decision, from which side who knows, that Evan's time at Brighton is over. I would be shocked if he ever played for us again.

Yeah, but you literally just said this:

He has been injured since April 2023 in one form or another. That's why he's looked off of his game.

As I said, you then posted that he hasn't been injured much since September, but I was replying to you first post.

If we do get decent money for him I seriously hope it’s spent on a striker with a bit of experience rather than yet another 18 year old years from being ready to actually play.

We all seem to think Evan will suddenly turn into some sort of goal machine. Shall we wait and see first? No? Thought not!
