I hadn't put 2 and 2 together, but Evan would be a brilliant signing for Forest.
Their style of play has made a journeyman like Chris Wood look like peak Alan Shearer.
Playing to your strikers strengths, it'll never work.

Madness I tell ya.

SORRY - CHAILEY BOT ALERT - We spent £200m in the last window. Have so far sold Moder, Peupion, Samuels and Barco this window. And we've bought in a few new teen wonder kids, the very promising Gomez , Cashin and perhaps a couple of signings that will kick in , in the summer. Ferguson is unlikely to be sold but lets see. Enciso and Buonaotte are loan players but still Brighton players - loanees do come back (Ask Mitoma, JPVH, Rushworth) . And that's it. (wait and see about Lamptey - Sky reporting that we want to keep him) . Is that really weakening the squad ?

Remember last year with O Mahoney, Offiah and others getting game time.

Fact is - We'll be in the Premier League next season for the 9th season in a row even if we lose the next 15 games. . We're 9th, still in the cup. We definitely won't be asking Southampton for advice about anything or comparing ourselves to them thanks. .
Great post :clap2:

Ferguson was potentially the most exciting Albion striker I've seen when he burst on to the scene. Now, there's a massive disconnect between his performances and the lazy national notion that he'd go to the likes of Chelsea or Arsenal and set the Premier League alight. No evidence for that for a long time. It could be one of the biggest muggings ever.

I'd rather we didn't take the risk and see how he fares on loan somewhere. The talent must still be in there somewhere.

Yes, please make it a loan. It'd be a real disappointment if we bin hm off now.

..........and why 'the likes of Chelsea or Arsenal' - or any other London team for that matter. Why is it only London teams that seem interested in our players (Mac Allister the honourable exception)? Why not the big northern giants?

There's always someone who tries to spoil everything with a reasoned argument, isn't there?

I really don't get it with Evan.
He's been injured, although I find the reports on his injury and recovery are unclear (at least to me).
He clearly showed great talent, which I'm sure can be brought back (unless he's mentally shot).
So either we've given up on him, or he wants to start and has given up on us.

Welbz and Pedro are good, but are inconsistent, injury prone and not exactly pulling up trees regularly.
Oh well... 🤷🏼‍♂️.... I'll ignore the hype on any future young stars.

Newcastle singed Burn (gedditt???) and the mighty Everton took Maupay....

Anyway....

I have heard that Ferguson may be injured, possibly not injured, and wants to leave.
He wants to stay but Fab doesn't like him and wants to sell him.
Fab thinks a loan might be in his best interest as there is something wrong with the lad's attitude.
The player has a great attitude, according to his boss, and is just lacking a certain sharpness
Nobody really knows what's going on, but it looks like glandular fever.
I recon we should give him a chance, or loan him out, or get rid.
