Yayy! we're tributing ireland with a 'who gives a sh*t?' attitude to eurovision.

If we are ever going to do well at eurovision we need to actually get a good singer, and publicise his/her face all over the continent

Quoted from the bottom

Josh's song That Sounds Good To Me was masterminded by music legend Pete Waterman who produced numerous hits for e.g. Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley or Steps.

we've got shit loads of acts who are MAHOOSIVE in europe......but i doubt any of them would risk destroying their careers

i remember "TATU" representing RUSSIA and not winning........and what the hell happened to them since?!

T'uther half's throwing a Eurovision Party that I'm going to struggle to duck out of. You have to pick a country and then dance around the room when that song comes on, enter a Eurovision sweepstake - winner takes all, and other such delights.

Altogether now: "I'm in love with a fairytale even thought it hurts..."

Rember being in Spain at the time Eurovision was on one year, didn't realise other countries took this pointless drivel so seriously!

Its lost all cred now its gone so political.

If it was scored on singing / music / presentation alone we may stand a chance. To do this, all the voters would need to be kept in the dark about where each act came from, kinda anonomously.

Won't happen ....

Wogan called it right - get out now, its a farce.

Bollocks... it's always been political. Admittedly it got worse with televoting but Greece always voted for Cyprus, Malta always for United Kingdom etc. The entrance of more Slavic countries just stopped the Scandinavian dominance that's all. Eurovision has always been about the comedy and the crassness. Who wins doesn't really matter.

My thoughts:

1. Our entry is bland.
2. The singer's dancing is even more wooden than Bill and Ben in a forest.
3. The Balkans and Western Europe hate the Germans, making it impossible for them to win.
4. I expect the winner to be some dusky Eurasian with lots of dancers, drums, banners, flags and Oriental music.
