I love Eurovision. But what’s happened is it’s pivoted so hard into creating live music videos rather than decent songs. It’s all fizz and no gin.

I like the entertainment of the contest but have always found the quality of the majority of songs moribund and instantly forgettable. Perhaps that is why I’m not noticing any drop in quality?
