Firstly, I know that game could have gone either way.

But we played well against a good side. How on earth can what we've just watched, be managed by the same person who served up England vs Slovenia, and England vs Slovakia?

Deserved it tonight. In a weird way, going a goal down seemed to suit us. That’s when this team starts playing. Improve by as much again on Sunday and who knows? They must have a lot of belief after all the comebacks.

Seem to recall Watkins doing something similar against us.

Full marks to Gareth this time. He saw the need for change and he made it.

For balance , on Kane being a national disgrace.

I totally agree . . . It looked like a foul in varworldvision
I even thought it was a foul in real time.

I want to see the note someone has just passed Starmer as he’s not allowed his phone

That is the biggest irony, that had dumfries made no effort to block the shot which ballooned over the bar there would have been no contact!

Yep. But whether something is a foul is never about where the offended has kicked the ball. If they knock it out of play and are wiped-out, it's a foul.

As another point if you look at the replay his foot is parallel with the pitch so not actually studs raised unless you mean that every time someone lifts their foot off the pitch they are "studs raised"
Fair enough, that may be true. But we see those in the middle of the park all the time, and they're always free-kicks right?
