I do not agree, the defender was tying to block the shot and kane kicked him on the follow through and then theatrically rolled around like a baby holding his shattered ankle which miraculously healed in time to take the pen!
But i realise you will not see it that way so best we agree to differ eh!

Well it’s not really a question of us seeing it differently, it’s the matter of the officials applying the rules, which they did. Am sure we’ll see loads of pundits banging on about what happened in their day, but that’s equally irrelevant. For what it’s worth I called it a pen as soon as Kane got his shot off it was so obvious, it’s for defenders to be aware of risk, Kane had the ball
