When I saw both games are English officials I feared the worst. I thought Anthony Taylor had a good game in the first game, Michael Oliver got the Paulinha yellow card wrong (wasn’t even a foul) and he should have booked Mendes for diving trying to win a penalty. Other than that I’ve really liked his performance, he’s let the game flow nicely, better than they tend to in the Premier League.

And that’s from someone that spends most the season tearing into them. Credit where it’s due.

Newmarket.
When you watch that Pepe run and challenge, Dembele decides that instead of playing the ball into the area with his right he chooses to dangle his left leg into Pepe hoping for a penalty.
Ha funking ha, didn't work you sausage.

That run just sums up Dembele’s career. Lots of promise, but can’t stick the ball in the back of the net.

Apparently the crowd were heard singing “It’s just like watching England”

Taylor could potentially get the final, 50 years after another Taylor did the 74' WCF in Germany.

Anyone else just find Danny Murphy a really boring and irritating commentator and pundit?
The BBC coverage is one of the few broadcast opportunities to CHOOSE your commentary preference!
Basically you can listen to Radio 5Live commentary instead.

It's not Amazon level where you can turn off the commentary altogether (the nirvana or sports broadcasting), but it is a nice option.

I hope now Kiers in power he will really start to nail down these pesky broadcasters and their inability to write a tiny bit of code to alleviate the pain of most modern sports commentary.

Morata banned for the semis after being booked for celebrating. What a bloody clown. I'd ship him home straight after that.

Carvajal was going to miss it anyway, so why not get sent I guess.

Looks like it was Fabian Ruiz who got booked and not Morata.
