The only England match I have ever attended was in Ireland in 1995. My first and last. The most toxic atmosphere imaginable. I'm guessing it must have improved with a plethora of banning orders.

Worryingly for Scotland, Germany are actually better than this start. Kroos has slipped three times, Gundogan looks a little off the pace.

And they’ve still absolutely dominated.

I really fear for them…

I am largely neutral, no anti Scotland sentiment here, but I did have a hearty chuckle after Scotland celebrated a keenly won goal kick in the 4th minute.

They desperately need to hold on for 15 minutes and not concede again immediately
