As a referee myself (of colour) but nowhere near this level, I cringe at the match control of many officials in the women’s game. My assessor wouldn’t be kind if I were middling this game. Shocking 15 minutes of officiating to be fair

I agree the referees have been poor. Perhaps the spotlight on them is just too much for them. I have found the same when ladies drive under pressure, they make more mistakes. Perhaps they have
not been in so many stress related areas as men.

What a lovely goal from sharp as you like Mead.

That move started with a shot of Harry Maguire in the stands, which makes that the best thing he’s done for the England team in years

Well that's a turn up for the books. We look a bit like a League 1 team playing a Premier League team...and we have taken the lead!

Just missing the reference to the kitchen. Well done.

State of the atmosphere

Half expecting Jonathan Wilkes or Robbie Williams to start bombing down the wings .

Atmosphere at the Amex shat all over this, guess that’s what happens when you go to second rate football towns for big games

It's refreshing to see an England national side who commit to attacking play despite having gone a goal up in the first half.
