Me too. I'm just aftertimingSame - Although I wasn't jinxing, genuinely thought it was going to happen.
Marseille - worstPurely in terms of getting through (and not travel etc) what are people’s thoughts? Anyone want to rank the possibles from best to worst?
I don’t know much about Europe leagues but I’m thinking avoid Milan, Benfica and Sporting - and Qarabag would be the easiest? Prob avoid Roma too if they get through as they’re decent aren’t they?
Yes, we holidayed near Freiburg in the Black Forest in 2003. It’s a a beautiful area and Freiburg is lovely.Freiburg is very driveable. I used to drive to Zurich regularly, about 11 hours including getting across the Channel. Freiburg is about 2 hours closer so you could comfortably do it over 2 days, stopping halfway, or even on the day of the match itself if you got a very early start (not recommended though). Lovely city and location in the heart of the Black Forest.
I do wish I'd said that! So, by my reckoning, as things stand in terms of teams we could still play in the competition, it could be Rotterdam, or anywhere, Liverpool or Rome...
Come on that’s not what I’m askingMarseille - worst
Anyone else - best
Sacked Gattuso recentlyCome on that’s not what I’m asking
Marseille would be winnable but tricky - prob mid range in terms of progressing through…
They were my second team for a few years. My ex-wife came from Rotterdam.I've always liked Feyenoord . . .
Well I heard Feyenoord thinks you’re a rotter, damn.I've always liked Feyenoord . . .
I'd rather avoid Marseilles, Milan and Roma, probably.
- Milan

- Benfica
- Sparta
