What are they saying about us on the other European forums?
Ajax saying group of death, toughest draw possible and suggesting they may be headed for the conference.

And a couple happy to visit Brighton as not fans of getting stabbed.

Ajax and Marseille easily doable by train so no panic if flights fill up. Both also served from multiple UK airports. Athens doable from Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead and Heathrow, mix of cheap and more business focussed airlines. BA from Heathrow for the totally randomly selected date of 9 November is £234 pp return.

I guess people's penchants for cheaper / more expensive travel will depend on how many of the three they intend on doing. Ajax is my current preferred of the three but would be ok with the other two, just got to take care of yourself and don't trust the local OB.

No doubt Seagull Travel will do some charter stuff too.

See my previous post. Those 5:45 kick offs are UK times but are for away games for us, so 6:45 or later local time on the continent. It’s very rare any English club gets a home game kicking off at that time (if ever).

Those of us who got run all over Marseilles by North African psychopaths with England in the World Cup should get first dibs at tickets for this one!
That must have been the first wave in 98 not the Russian race years later.
Yes I was there, and tempted to do sightseeing tours when I'm out there as covered quite a lot of ground that weekend, albeit at PACE.

How long?
the journey not the train.
From memory four hours from St Pancras. Obviously you've got to get there first.

This was a work trip and my office is in London so we worked there day before, stayed near Kings X and got up early. I think the Amsterdam train was around 8am and got there at 13:00 ish with the time difference.

This was last year so timetables and capacity may have changed. Worth checking.
