I'm so pleased with myself for giving up my Season Ticket this year after 59 years of watching the Albion. ( It is a long haul from here to see them regularly at my age. )

With my stunning ability to consistently make bad decisions at the wrong time throughout my life, I am going to buy some Lottery tickets this week. I will endeavour to post the numbers here that I have chosen , so others will know they are the wrong ones.

This is unexpectedly reasonable! I am made up with the club for this, can almost forgive them for not allowing my flask of tea. £85 for 3 tickets to watch BHA in Europe is amazing value! And glad my offer to buy GCCM Junior II (my youngest and just under 21) tickets now sounds equally generous but with smaller cost!

Presumably all STH will also get the chance to buy tickets for the games individually ? In which case the cheap price is mainly in return for payment in advance.

Yes but won't be able to guarantee their usual season ticket seat as the 3 match pack sales take priority and there's a chance for STH to choose different seats for that.

£100 top price.
Out of interest what would you have paid? Personally for the pack I'd have paid whatever they asked but would have screamed at PBOBE if it was over £135
Got a feeling though it will exclude travel.

Can't see the per game prices for individual tickets anywhere there?

I'm not sure if I can make all 3 but want to get a sense of how much of a saving it would be compared to buying separately - ie if buying all 3 is only £10 more than for buying 2, I might go for it.
Not sure they've released them yet, and maybe won't until specifics are known.

There's the online EL fans' forum tonight - it feels like an obvious question for someone to ask.

Expected (and would’ve happily paid) around £50 a ticket. £28.33 a ticket for the comfort of my own seat is incredible, less than an away ticket in the prem

Good value. Take the long view and JDI. Go to some away games as well - it's what I did in 2009-10. I'm a 3rd/4th generation Cottager and none of my ancestors had had the opportunity and probably my daughter and maybe her children (if she has any) will neither.

Is it really that much of a bargain? I suspect at least 2 opponents will be Championship standard, and maybe the group could be wrapped up before the third game. I think the novelty value will wear off sooner than people think.
Really, REALLY?

Nice one by the club!

(tho those forced to move seats will doubtless disagree)
I think there were only two options here...

1. Allow a free-for-all across all STHs, ie let everyone in at the same time to choose seats, allowing fans to get their own (if quick) or choose somewhere else.
2. Allow non-displaced STH to have first dibs, and then allow displaced STHs to pick from the rest.

I'm not sure what would be the best option across the entire fanbase, but I think you're probably correct that those who have been displaced, might be feeling a bit annoyed right now.

Do think the way the club have done it makes for the least amount of annoyed STHs. Obviously not ideal for them but the other way would mean more annoyed/displeased people.

Displaced seats. Are they not the front rows which are left blank to highlight the neon sign? Have to say I was front row, lower east, Sunday and an awful view. Would never buy a ST for there.

It's not just you - though I was pretty confident Tony would see us to Europe within a few years. Not sure why I didn't put a bet on.
