Anyone else found it a bit meh after the first 2 stages of group games?

The 3rd place qualification has taken most of the drama out of the last round of games in the groups.

There has been a couple of enjoyable knockout games, but most have been a dull watch.

We've rather lost this thread in the individual match day threads, so thanks for bouncing.

For me it's been a poor tournament with a few good games. Somehow, despite all the tinkering, we still ended up with what would have been a decent final (Germany v Spain) in the quarters while our half of the draw has been full of pretty average teams.

I was getting my entertainment from the excellent prediction comp run by @Theatre of Trees . Now I'm out of that, my main interest is in seeing if England can bore their way to the final and piss off the whole of Europe yet again.

France v England is the final no one wants, it will be dreadful.

From memory, I don't think the last Euros was overly great either?

I was all for expanding it, but they need to tweak it so there is less dead rubbers/teams knowing what they need to finish third in the group stage.

Are we spoilt in the PL?

International football os several levels lower in quality of players

So the ref for Wednesday is a guy that's previously been banned for match-fixing. Jude Bellingham brought it up when calling him out for a crap performance when he was playing for Dortmund v Bayern and got a €40k fine for it.

Bodes well.

CHANCES OF DUNK GETTING A FEW MINUTES?
How many 'unused' subs are still warming the bench?
At what point, 4:0 or 5:0, does Lewis get any chance of getting at least 3 minutes on the pitch?

19 down, 5 to go.

That's all 24 done, finishing with a sole meunière this evening

He was the referee for our home tie against Roma in March.
