BBC often do a UHD stream through iPlayer if you have a 4K telly. Although I think it can be slightly behind the main broadcast.
This, Really impressed with their UHD iPlayer. (But the delay is a good 20 seconds at least)
Correct.
Another win for the BBC. The ITV player, as well as being flaky in and of itself, also for some bizarre reason doesn’t even output premier content to max consumer levels. A smeary, grainy non UHD image.
BBC meanwhile is outputting in 4K. Beautiful crisp image, stable player. No contest.
What annoys me about ITV is the players come out and they go for an ad break. The only break is the break in the atmos that it creates in the kick off build up.

How long until they shoehorn ads at substitutions or injuries etc?
I can see it happening that one day sponsors will be paying so much that they will have a 30 second slot for an ad during substitutions and the rules will change to allow it. Sickening.
Some US channels reduce the size of the picture during substitutions/injuries etc and show adverts at the bottom and side of the picture. Works well - gets the ad revenue but doesn't impact watching the game.
Someone must watch and like ITV, is it a North/south divide thing? Or a working class thing?
I don't really watch TV , when I do it is never ITV, unlass like last night its something unmissable and not broadcast anywhere else
Pundits better on ITV.
Presenter and commentary miles better on BBC
