We really should get through ours but Group B must the toughest group ever in a major football tournament

Agree with the more negative posts. I think France and Sweden will be difficult in the finals of a major tournament for the current English side. Ukraine in Kiev- even the best teams would be happy with a draw. Oh and then there's the potential Quarter Finals...

I'm just happy to enjoy the football!

That's a terrible draw for those of us who were hoping to go out there. I was looking for a Poland based group. Would have preferred to be in Ireland's group - we're not going to win the thing, so we might as well have had some tasty games.

It's a f***ing joke that Ireland get put in the hardest group for every major tournament.

Look at England's groups, only ever mediocre teams, then Ireland get f***ing Spain and Italy. What a load of shit.
Ireland aren't in the hardest group, group B is the hardest.

And of course Ireland are normally in a harder group than England, because Ireland have a lower ranking. For example, which team has the hardest 3 games: Denmark. The other 3 teams in their group have it easier. QED.

Despite being hard / solid ours is definitely the easiest save only group A.

Spain in the quarters? Seems likely knowing us. Would consider vs Italy a 50/50...

And FFS f***ing sweden! Always f***ing sweden!! That's a draw then.

@sharpeangle: 1st significant betting move since Euro draw announced-England cut by Wm Hill from 5/2 to 2/1 to fail to get through their Group.#Euro2012

I like 9/4 on England exiting at the quarters.

Ticket applications have gone live today.

Not cheap but as wasn't expecting anything else. Quite a jump between Cat 3 and Cat 2 tickets for the final though.

Group Matches 120 € / 70 € / 30 €
Quarter Final 150 € / 80 € / 40 €
Semi Final 270 € / 150 € / 45 €
Final 600 € / 330 € / 50 €

Dunno how many locals will be able to afford those prices but I'm sure they'll find a way.

the tickets arent that bad in price but getting there and getting a roof over your head will cost an absolute fortune! I wouldn't feel too safe going over there either, much safer and cheaper to stay at home imo!
