drumroll for upper tier opening [emoji106]
Should be a poll.

Which tier will open first and when?

My bet is on Barber sticiing stubbornly to no upper tier opening because the last few bad seats in the lower bowl are slow to shift...

This match is a huge opportunity. We have a large enough squad to put out a decent team. Bring it on and let’s sell out.

Maybe a poll would be helpful in indicating to the club how many people would go if the upper tiers were put on sale.

A great opportunity to give some decent players a first team battle. Krul, Bruno, Uwe, Goldson Suttner, Kayal, March, Skalak, Locaida, Ulloa plus 1 other could really benefit from 90 minutes

didn't think Ulloa could play in the cup ? anyway, absolute rubbish the sales so far I'd say no chance of opening top tiers unless there is less than 5 lower left by the end of the week

totally agree. I think we are different from many premier league clubs in that we have 20 odd players of similar ability rather than a team of stars and one that is not so good. Our 'second string' should be far too good for Coventry (like they were for Palace and Boro)

Looks like the club have gauged this about right, slow ticket sales but could get a late rush after this weekend.

How many tickets have been sold. I genuinely thought it would be a sellout as it is well priced and a fantastic opportunity to progress.

Ground capacity = 30,500
Less 1901 = 28,000
Less WSU = 23,000
Less ESU = 21,000
Less Cov = 16,500

Just under 5000 left, so approx 11,000 sold to Albion fans thus far.

i don't think there's currently any way of telling whether the club have gauged this right or not. I'd wager there are thousands who are holding back because they don't fancy sitting in the dead zones of the lower tiers. If they hadn't opened the North, I'd certainly count myself among that number.

I’ve been waiting for a few extras to confirm before booking. Now need to book 6 tickets but tempted to wait for West Upper to open. I would have bought in the West Lower but the central areas are all sold out.
