It's a massive occasion over here. The tickets were sold out within half an hour. Still hoping for an Estonian rescue act from Vassiljev :) . He would be a great shout for us - attacking midfielder who has scored 14 goals in 47 games for his country. Plays for an average team in the Russian premier league and is a very consistent performer.

Watched the Bosnia/Portugal game and it's been pretty poor. Lou Macari is terminally boring.

Going back to the Argentina/Bolivia game, they're playing qualifiers 3 YEARS before the tournament!

I guess the Estonians will end their brief affair with football and go back to their "old faithful" cross-country skiing. Tallinn will be crazy tonight - over 3'000 Irish in town.

i remember bolivia thrashing them 6-0 a few years ago and it could of been 10!

Remember that now you mention it, having been out of breath walking up a slope in La Paz I can only imagine how hard it is to play football there. 1 each now :(

People were buying on spec and then trying to sell them on the market for 10-20 times face value - perhaps that could be why. I tried to get tickets online and it was absolute chaos. Even the VIP tickets at EUR 95 a pop were sold out,

i guess they don't have anything else to qualify for, as they're all in the copa america without qualifying....so they can do the WC qualifiers spread throughout the years between world cups and play a shit load of friendlies as well when the rest of the world is qualifying for the euros/african nations/whatever
